Julie Hope Linden is a clinical psychologist in private practice. She is the past president of the International Society of Hypnosis (ISH), the American Society of Clinical Hypnosis (ASCH) and of the Greater Philadelphia Society of Hypnosis (GPSCH). Through her teaching and writing she has contributed significantly to the understanding of hypnotic work in a developmental framework including: children and adolescents, trauma, hypnotic sandtray therapy, gender-sensitive hypnosis and feminist hypnotherapy, ego state therapy, hypnosis and creativity, relational hypnosis, hypnosis and the brain-gut connection, education and training in hypnosis, as well as hypnosis and leadership.
